Men: Step back on the right foot. Man's left hand to lady's right hand.
The signal for the Neckbreak is your right arm crooked in a
right-angle, raised up to neck height, with the fingers pointing at
the lady's left shoulder.
Women: Step back on the left foot.
Men: Step forward slightly, and bring the lady in to your right hand side, with your
right arm now above her shoulder.
Women: Step forward on your right foot so that your feet are together.
You should be on the man's right hand side, but don't turn.
Note: Your feet are now in a line, and you are facing opposite
directions.
Men: With your left arm turn the lady on the spot so that she is now
facing the same direction as you. Transfer the lady's hand to your right hand.
Your arm is now straight out to your right, running across the back of the
lady's neck.
Women: Turn 180 degrees on the spot so that you are now facing in the
same direction as the man. Your feet should be together.
Men: Take a small step to the left with your left foot (to steady
yourself) and sweep the lady in front of you so that she is now at
right angles to
you. Your right hand remains at neck height.
Women: Follow the man's hand, stepping forward on your left foot in preparation
for the spin.
Men: Push out to turn the lady, and when she faces you take your
hand up over her head to do another full spin.
Women: Do one and three-quarters spin on the spot, spinning on your
right foot & turning with your right-shoulder back
(clockwise).
Men: Step back on the right foot and bring your hand back down.
Women: Step back on the right foot.
Men: Step in for a standard return, bring your hand up over the
lady's head to spin her on the spot.
Women: Step in on your left foot and spin 360 degrees anti-clockwise on the spot.
Men: Step back on the right foot, holding on to the lady's right
hand. Extend your left hand over your right ready for the next
move.
Women: Come out of the spin, and step back on the left foot, taking
the man's offered hand with your left ready for
the next move.
