The Basket is used instead of a normal return.  You cannot use the Basket if the lady is back on the left foot - she must be back on the right.

Women: Step back on the right foot.

Men: Step in on the left foot, and with the left hand lead down and back up again over the lady's head, keeping hold of her left hand.

Note: At this point you are both facing the same direction, shoulder to shoulder, hip to hip.

Men: Make a small step back on the inside foot, and a longer step back on the outside foot.  As you do this, bring the hand down from above your head to waist level.

Women: Take a small step back on the left foot (the inside foot) and a longer step back on the right (outside) foot to mirror the  man.

Men: Lead the lady up in front of you so that you are standing face to face, raise your left hand to head height and go palm-to-palm, elbow to elbow with the lady.

Women: Step in front of the man to face him.

Men: Push up over the lady's head to spin her.

Women: Push-off against the man's hand and spin 360 degrees clockwise (right shoulder back) on your right foot. Turn on the spot.

Men: Bring your hand down and step back on the right foot.

Women: Complete the spin and step back on the right foot.

Men: Step in for a standard return, bring your left hand up over the lady's head to spin her on the spot.

Women: Step in and spin 360 degrees anti-clockwise (left shoulder back) on your left foot. Turn on the spot.

Men: Step back on the right foot, holding on to the lady's right hand.

Women: Come out of the spin, and step back on the left foot ready for the next move.
